Description
Introduction • Chronic consumptive coagulopathy is a persistent imbalance between clotting and bleeding, often triggered by underlying conditions like malignancy. • It involves excessive activation of coagulation pathways and depletion of platelets and clotting factors. • One important differential is paraneoplastic hyperfibrinolysis, which is a rare condition where tumor cells excessively activate fibrinolytic systems. • Due to limited literature, this case aims to highlight diagnostic complexities and differentials.
