Abstract

  • This session will provide an overview of how behavioral health integration has been implemented at two academic Family Medicine practices within Corewell Health East using the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model. Presenters will review workflow design, practical implementation strategies, and early data on physician satisfaction, team impact, and patient engagement. The discussion will also highlight the role of behavioral health in shaping a multidisciplinary learning environment, offering insights from resident physicians who train within these multidisciplinary models. The session will also include strategies to expand the PCBH model into other primary care sites and will address mechanisms for sustainability.
